LAUNCH OF IntNSA EUROPE

We are pleased to inform you that IntNSA has decided to work with the ICN NP/APN 2018 Rotterdam organisation. The IntNSA launches its official European region during the 10th ICN NP/APN Conference on Sunday, 26 August 26 2018. With this collaboration we can bring together all NP/APN and work together on tomorrow’s health issues in the broadest sense of the word.

The International Nurses Society on Addictions (IntNSA)
Traditionally the impact of addiction problems and the nursing expertise in e.g. primary care or in elderly care is underexposed at many conferences. The 10th ICN NP/APN Conference is teaming up with the IntNSA to share specialised knowledge and experience to give addiction the attention it deserves and it needs.

Recent research shows that the nature and extent of addiction problems are much greater than thought. In addition, stigmatisation appears to be alive throughout the healthcare industry. On the other hand, more often and increasingly more MANP’s perform beautiful innovation projects and practice-based scientific research.
Nine out of the ten themes at the conference are directly linked to addiction problems. All advanced practice nurses specialised in addiction are invited to share their much needed knowledge by submitting an abstract before 29 November 2017. Please make sure to use the keywords “Addiction” when submitting.

Site visit to Antes
Antes is an institute specialised in psychiatry & addiction with several location in and around Rotterdam. In collaboration with the Dutch Chapter of IntNSA they will open their doors for educational site visits during the conference.
